Cynthia Om was born in a small rural town called Jackson, Michigan.  She had a love of art from very early on in childhood.  While trying to earn a business degree from Michigan State University she found herself discontented and asked herself, “What makes me happy?”  The answer was “art”.  So she moved to California to embark on a new adventure.  Having become a vegetarian at MSU she dove further into the healing powers of plants and food and began to realize the interconnectedness of all things.  Spending a lot of time painting she later realized her fascination with collage and her ability to communicate a message through her choice of images; we are what we eat, we are not independent from our environment, and that everything is all one.  Her art depicts the divine feminine and life force energy.
